Which driving scenarios are available?
The RigMaster software provides one of the largest databases of driving simulations so you can cover hundreds of scenarios with your students. Instructors have full control over the time of day, weather conditions, and traffic patterns.
What type of trucks can we drive?
Every school and trucking company prefers different equipment. The RigMaster simulator includes all truck makes, including: Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, Mack, and International - in both automatic and manual transmission. You can also use any type of trailer, including: dry van, doubles, flatbeds, reefer, and tankers of every size variation.
How do we learn to use the system?
During the installation process, one of our solutions advisors will be on-site to train your team on using the RigMaster simulator. The initial training only takes about two hours. We also provide written instructions for you to share with instructors and an online training library. Our solutions advisors are also available 24/7 to answer questions and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
What if something breaks?
If something isn't working the way it should please reach out to our solutions support center 24/7. If it is a physical component that needs to be fixed, we can usually have it replaced in less than one week!
How does the installation process work?
Once you have purchased your RigMaster simulator, we will work with you to set up an installation date and time. Our lead time for an installation is currently less than 3 weeks. On the day of installation, our solutions advisor will bring all of the required equipment and set it up in your desired location. The full installation and instructor training can usually be done in one full work day.
Will the simulator fit in my space?
The RigMaster is designed to use space efficiently. The minimum space requirements for one simulator are 58" H x 73" W x 77" L. The simulator should also be within a reasonable distance from a reliable power source.
